Tea leaves can only be used once, so if you have used them, throw them away. You can put them on plants or in a compost heap but never re-use them, its just not done.
u could freeze them and use them on ur eyes for relaxation
u can put it on a late and use it again later
Most loose tea can be used for brewing more than once, usually twice or three times. I put my tea in a small airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator. It keeps for at least 3-4 days maybe longer, when they are totally spent you should compost them.
You can reuse loose tea leaves 2x (Black tea) or up to 4x (Green & White teas) times. I’ve made 2 pots in a row from the same leaves & the flavor was fine (just had to add another minute or two to the steep time).
If you made sure they were perfectly dry & stored airtight, you could resteep within 12 or so hours, but I’d chuck em if not using right away. I’d also put them in the fridge in a ziplock to reduce the chance of mold forming.
After final use, they make excellent compost.
