How to make tea with fresh herbs?
I recently just brought a few plants of the mint and sage chocolate and want to know if it is safe to use the fresh leaves with hot water to make tea. The love of identifying some suggestions and ask why im a new gardener and do not know if its safe to do that. Akso i was given a sugarplant (Steve) and wants to know if I can add its fresh leaves to tea as well. I really appreciate your input or advice is useful if you know of any love for the identification of Web site to find out. Heaps of thanks.

It is easy to make what is actually called a tisane, not a tea. Tea is from camellia sinensis and is the only thing that is properly called tea. However, to answer your question: you can make sure your mint leaves are not sprayed with any type of pesticide, and pace them in a teapot or cup and pour boiling water over them. Steep for a few minutes and enjoy.
