NO!
Do NOT give any human medication or herbs to dogs without checking with your vet. There are plenty of options to help your dog. Talk to your vet about them.
It is always safest to ask your vet it will be just a free phone call…
I have never tried it with my dog that used to get motion sickness. What did work for her was withholding food for about 3-4 hours before traveling and getting her more used to car trips by repetitively taking many short ones – sometimes just a few blocks. Over time, she outgrew the problem.
I agree with Cindy!
Ginger can be used but, as others have said, check with your vet about the dosage. I have also read that giving a couple of gingersnaps 15 minutes before a car ride is just as effective (and easier on the dog).
